Beating the Summer Heat

It has been hot here. Our air conditioner has been running 24 hours a day and is not keeping up. Hot temperatures make for cranky, anxious kids. So Tuesday we went to check the new Spray Park. The kids had a great time.


Brogan was a little apprehensive in the beginning.

But with the help of his cousins, he started to get into it and have fun.



Review from the kids: two thumbs up! We will definitely be going back before the end of the summer.

Six Years Down...Eternity to Go!

Six years ago I married this man. So much has happened in these last 6 years - Our first house, a cruise to Mexico, our first baby, a temple sealing, a broken car mirror, changing of jobs, our second baby, lots of laughs and a few tears. I love this man! He is my best friend and my partner in crime. Happy anniversary, my love! Here's to many more! :)

4th of July

We spent a few days up in Farmington during the 4th of July weekend. We had a great time with family. We watched movies, went swimming, went to the lake, and had a great BBQ over at Lindsey and Adrian's cute new house. These are some pictures from that night.

Could these two be any cuter in their Independence Day gear? I think not.

Their house was perfectly positioned to see the city fireworks. Brogan was still scared of them this year, but we at least got him to watch them from the window. Last year he wouldn't even look at them from the window.
Here is Allie playing with her sparkler. That girl was so stinkin' excited to set off some fireworks.
I am so grateful for the country that we live in and the freedoms that we enjoy. I am so thankful for those who paved the way to allow me to enjoy those freedoms and those who continue to defend freedom.

Who wins the lamest blogger of the year award? That would be me. I thought I would at least post some random pictures of the kids in hopes that the grandparents won't disown me. ;)

My favorite picture lately. Love these two goofballs.

Check out Liam in his jumper. He loves this thing, and so do I. I don't know what I would do without it.
Liam has started solid foods. He likes the food, but it is tough competition with his fingers.
